Posting pictures of your restaurant and your staff can help prospective employees visualize what it would be like to work for you. It also provides a glimpse into your restaurant’s culture and what kind of camaraderie your employees share. A video takes it a step further. Using a platform like Greenhouse or posting a video on the career page of your website allows you to introduce yourself and your restaurant, allowing applicants to get to know somewhat you before meeting you in person.

Allow Applicants To Apply With LinkedIn

Streamline the application process by allowing candidates to apply with LinkedIn. Offering this option makes applying more convenient for applicants because it can auto-populate your online application with their information. It can also give you access to their LinkedIn profile, where you can learn more about them.

Provide Specifics About Pay And Benefits

When it comes to pay and benefits, it’s best to be upfront about it in your job descriptions. Specify the minimum and maximum the position will pay and whether the position is hourly or salaried. You should also state whether pay is based on experience. If you offer benefits, listing and playing them up can help attract quality applicants. Include information about health insurance, paid time off, 401k options and any other benefits you offer.
